We here at Natural Stress Solutions specialize in all CBD products, both pure and full spectrum.
Pure CBD – Pure CBD is the one single cannabinoid all by itself, with no other cannabinoids or plant compounds. These products are isolate based, and will not contain trace amounts of THC.
Full Spectrum CBD – Full Spectrum CBD products contain all of the compounds, terpenes, and cannabinoids found in the hemp plant. (This includes trace amounts of THC.) These compounds are responsible for what is known as The Entourage Effect. The Entourage Effect helps these compounds send signals to activate naturally occurring receptors in your body. This allows the cannabinoids to produce a stronger influence than any one of those components alone.
Everyone’s body naturally produces their own cannabinoids, but your body also has two receptors for cannabinoids (CB1 and CB2 receptors.)
- CB1 receptors
- Typically found throughout the body, but are more typically found in the brain. These receptors deal with coordination, movement, pain, emotions, mood, thinking, appetite, and memories. When there is THC present in CBD oil, it helps to activate these receptors. This allows these cannabinoids to aid in greater and more broad pain relief.
- CB2 receptors
- Found in the immune system, CB2 receptors affect inflammation and pain. It was thought that CBD directly attached to these receptors, but it now appears that CBD does not in fact attach directly to either receptor. Instead, they help direct the body to use more of its own cannabinoids.
CAUTION: Full Spectrum CBD products may contain trace amounts of THC, although far below the legal limits of 0.3%. When taken orally for an extended period of time, or in large amounts may show up on a drug screen.
Full Spectrum CBD when used topically will not penetrate deep enough to enter the bloodstream.
